Takeaki Totsuka lives and works between Sydney, Australia, and Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.
His handcrafted ceramic wares are produced using a variety of locally sourced materials.
Born in Japan in 1977, Takeaki emigrated to Australia with his family in 1988.
In 2004 he obtained a Master of Studio Arts from Sydney College of the Arts.
His work is influenced by traditional Japanese pottery techniques.
